A Netflix irá produzir uma nova série animada de Ghost in the Shell. Em sua conta no Twitter, a empresa anunciou que o projeto da Production I.G, originalmente anunciado em 2017, foi adquirido pelo streaming. A produção irá se chamar Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, e terá direção da dupla Shinji Aramaki e Kenji Kamiyama.
Ainda não foram revelados detalhes da animação, mas a primeira arte foi divulgada junto do anuncio. Confira abaixo:
